Game 6: @ Gardner @ 6:00 19 September and 24 October
This match will serve as the first ever started one-month-and-then-finished-the-next-month match in STA Soccer history.
Storms loomed before we ever even began, but we did get 13 minutes in and we did cash a very nice corner. So . . . to be continued.
And continue we did. We resumed with some nice possession, something we have been working on lately. We picked up two more goals (from the field) to lead 3-0 at half.
Now second half for the most part was not pretty as we reverted to a lot of kick ball. Gardner built an nice goal to cut the lead to 3-1.
We did rally for two nice goals in the final 4 minutes. We finished a nice corner and then with no time left on the clock, Skyler Martin played a great ball across the box for Hagenkord's diving header.
We now begin post season firmly planted at the 8 seed. We are still missing plenty of players, but hopefully we can get them back for the final run here. Tonight we did see some glimpses of the team that played in St. Louis/
